Doors will open at 7:15 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m.

We encourage all religious denominations, all clergy and congregations, ethnicities, cultures, youth, civic organizations, neighbors, families and friends to join together in thanksgiving for our many blessings. We encourage this opportunity to meet, educate, enrich and embrace our similarities through fellowship and prayer. This special celebration will present the wisdom of guest speakers sharing their insight on how the inspired teachings of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. are perhaps more relevant now than ever before. Uniting as one people, we give thanks to a higher power for allowing us this successful journey.

Those of you unable to attend may donate to the Arizona Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Committee. Proceeds will benefit educational scholarships to deserving, underprivileged students in the Phoenix community and the on-going good works of Arizona OIC. Special recognition of donors will be announced at the Breakfast.

We look forward to having you share the power of your faith and prayer. In the words of writer, Wilfred Peterson, “The art of thanksgiving is thanks-living. It is gratitude in action.”

With warm wishes for peace and unity,

Rev. Reginald D. Walton / Jesse Ary
